The Spyderco Rescue 3 is a practical rescue knife, designed to quickly and painlessly cut through seatbelts and clothing. When you, as an aid worker, often find yourself in situations where people need to be rescued from predicaments, this is the perfect knife for you.

The blade has a blunt sheepfoot shape with a straight edge. The tip is round to make sure you won’t accidentally hurt a victim. You open the blade with the thumb hole and the backlock neatly keeps it in place. The edge is completely serrated. Perfect for cutting through high-fibre materials. In terms of steel the popular VG10 was chosen and the handle is made from FRN. That is glass fibre-reinforced nylon: very strong and light-weight.
